Although the title is “advanced” we cater to all levels of players, and beginners are encouraged to attend due to the engaging listening sessions and conversations we incorporate each week.

FEE:  $25.00 per person for AARP Members, $30.00 per person for non-members.

In this weekly lesson students will learn basic skills and beyond. Subjects covered will include the physical properties of the instrument, how to interpret and read tablature and chord boxes, and how to play 2 to 4 chord songs.

Learn how to create beautiful, hand-crafted greeting cards.  Presenter Cristina Del Piano will teach the basic skills of stamping and paper crafting, and guide us in creating two unique greeting cards per patron.

This session will include a discussion of how we can use food as medicine and the health promoting properties of pesto. As a class, we will prepare a batch of pesto using commonly available herbs. The demonstration will be followed by a tasting.
