Event Details
Although the title is “advanced” we cater to all levels of players, and beginners are encouraged to attend due to the engaging listening sessions and conversations we incorporate each week. A few of our students began this journey four years ago and have progressed tremendously! Subjects covered include music theory, improvisation, genres like rock, blues, reggae, and jazz. We don’t adhere to a strict format and incorporate suggestions and spontaneity as we explore the music universe with our guitars. 12 bar blues, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, transposition, utilizing capos and slides, and many more concepts are covered. We utilize a shared file folder with all of our students and you can have access to it moving forward whether you continue or not. Come learn and listen with a great group of eager students and your guide Ben, who has been playing guitar for 35 years and developed a unique approach to inspiring his students.
