Program Description

Event Details

Ages 3-5 with accompanying adult. Kids will enjoy creating a pillow inspired by the picture book Lights Out, Todd! by Todd Parr. Kids will enjoy using felt shapes, glue, fiber fill, and dimensional paint to make their own unique design. Miss Doris will lead participants through the project step by step. Fiber fill will make the pillow soft while dimensional paint is used for adding simple details. This fun project is a breeze to create.

All registered participants are asked to pick up a craft kit in the Family Center, containing the materials needed for the program within the first week of registration. If the kit is not picked up within the first week, your spot will be given to the next patron on the waiting list.

*Due to the high volume of sign-ups and limited supplies, we are asking you to please sign up your child(ren) for one age appropriate programs per month so that other children will have the opportunity to participate as well. If we see that your child(ren) are registered for multiple classes, the library reserves the right to remove them from one of the classes.

The link will be active from 9/1 until 9/30.
