2020 marks the 500th anniversary since the passing of one of the Renaissance era’s greatest artists, Raffaello Sanzio. Born in Urbino, Italy to a father who was an artist, Raphael became a child prodigy who was later educated by Perugino. Raphael produced some of the Renaissance’s most enduring images that will be featured in this visual zoom lecture by Professor Thomas Germano.
