Event Details

Grades 5-12.  Create a heart to help babies bond with their parents while they are in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  NICU parents will wear the fabric heart next to their skin and the heart absorbs their scents. The heart is then taken to the NICU and placed next to their baby where they can be soothed by their parent's scent.  This aides in bonding and soothing for the NICU baby.  All registered participants will earn 1 hour of community service credit.
