Local Author Festival

There is no better way to encourage a love of reading than to meet the people who write the books. The Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library is pleased to feature local authors who will discuss their books and their craft with you on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17. Beginning at 2 P.M., you will have an opportunity to hear a little bit about each of the participants, including information on why they became published authors, what their books are about, how they got started and what they hope for in the future. After these brief introductions, you can find out where to purchase a copy of their books. Join us as we celebrate our many talented authors. Light refreshments will be served following the presentations.
