Ages 3 and up with accompanying adult. It's Junie B.'s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie's friend, Lucille, doesn't want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting.

Tickets will be given to Plainview-Old Bethpage residents beginning Sunday, October 27 at the Family Center. Limit 4 tickets per family. Photo I.D. or Library Card required. If there are extra tickets, they will be given out in person on Sunday, November 3 on a first come, first served basis to Plainview-Old Bethpage residents. No children under three years of age and no strollers please. No food and beverages permitted. Plainview-Old Bethpage residents without tickets will be admitted followed by non-residents on the day of the program, space permitting.
