Coupon Holder for Troopons (Community Service Opportunity) (Craft to Go)

  • This event is for registrants grade 5th Grade to 12th Grade.

Event Details

Grades 5-12.  Tweens and teens will have the opportunity to make coupon holders for our troops.  All registered participants are asked to pick up a craft kit, in the Family Center, containing the materials needed for the program.  Additionally, there will be a link provided for an instructional video.  All completed coupon holders and coupons will need to be returned to the Family Center by Friday, April 9, 2021.  Each registered participant will earn two hours of community service credit for watching the video and returning a completed coupon holder.  If you choose to include a minimum of 10 non-expired coupons with the coupon holder, you will earn an additional hour of community service credit.  All coupon holders and coupons will be donated to Troopons - Coupons for Troops Program.  "The Support Our Troops® Troopons® program enhances the well-being of overseas and domestic military families by sending them food, non-food, baby, and pet manufacturer coupons to make their hard-earned dollars go farther."  Please register and pick up the craft kit from March 1 - March 8.  The video will be available for the entire month though.
