"Bringing History to Life" - In-person Author Talk with Theresa Dodaro (It Begins with a Book Author Series)

Join us for the second talk in our It Begins with a Book series, as local author Theresa Dodaro discusses how the merging of historical events and historical figures with fictional storylines can bring history to life.  In her presentation, Theresa Dodaro explains that we know history through documents and personal accounts, but who people were, what they thought, and what they felt, needs to be deciphered from between those lines.  By having them interact with fictional characters during historical events, an author can explore these individuals in relation to the times and places they lived. Two of the author’s recent books, The Bayman’s Daughter and The Porcelain Doll, will be featured.
