Yes You CAN (Community Service Opportunity) (In Person)

Grades 5-12.  Can openers are a high need item for many food pantries.  To address this need, and food insecurity on Long Island, tweens and teens will learn the art of Kawaii Illustration, mixed with Andy Warhol's Pop Art, to create fun labels for all of the can openers that will be donated to local food pantries. Participants will also create a mini Pop Art style can painting to take home. All attendees will earn 1 hour of community service credit for attending the program.  An additional hour can be earned by bringing a canned good or two to the program for donation.
