Allowed Grades: 5th Grade to 12th Grade

Program Description

Event Details

Grades 5-12.  The North Fork Animal Welfare League has a special program for veterans who adopt shelter pets. Tweens and teens will design and make dog-themed tote bags that each veteran will receive when they adopt.  Additionally, all bags will be filled with much needed items.  Each student that participates in the program will receive 1 hour of community service credit.
