Ages 3 and up with accompanying adult. From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat that they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas, he is certainly loads of fun. He turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure...but what will mom find when she gets home...?
Tickets will be given to Plainview-Old Bethpage residents beginning Sunday, March 30 at the Family Center. Limit 4 tickets per family. Photo I.D. or Library Card required. If there are extra tickets, they will be given out in person on Sunday, April 6 on a first come, first served basis to Plainview-Old Bethpage residents. No children under three years of age and no strollers please. No food and beverages permitted. Plainview-Old Bethpage residents without tickets will be admitted followed by non-residents on the day of the program, space permitting.

ALL PROGRAMS ARE AGE SPECIFIC. NO YOUNGER OR OLDER SIBLINGS UNLESS SPECIFIED. The library holds the right to remove a participant from a program if they do not meet the registration requirements.
*All programs start promptly and no one will be permitted after 10 minutes. Please call to cancel if your child cannot attend the program. Failure to do so will lead you to be placed on the waiting list for future programs.*
