After a much beloved performance of “Music and Conversations,” we are pleased to welcome back to the library world-renowned pianist Stefano Miceli to present, “Music and Conversations: The Influence of Chamber Music.”  As in his previous performance, audience members can look forward to an evening of classic music performances intertwined with insight into the musical compositions and composers featured.  This time, Miceli will be accompanied by acclaimed violinist, Olga Turkina, and award-winning cellist, James Acampora.  The concert will be immediately followed by a reception where audience members can “meet and greet” the musicians while enjoying light refreshments.

***Stefano Miceli has appeared as a conductor, pianist and regular guest artist at festivals and theatres around the world, including Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Berliner Philharmonie, Fenice Opera House, Beijing's Forbidden City Concert Hall, Donizetti Opera Bergamo, Boston Theatre, Melbourne Arts Center, and Bellini Opera Catania. 
***Olga Turkina is an Eastman School of Music graduate in Violin Performance and has competed internationally and won numerous awards. She has participated in numerous festivals throughout Europe and the USA and performs with various musical ensembles throughout the New York Area.
***James Acampora is an award-winning cellist, composer and arranger who has performed in venues across NYC and Long Island. He has performed tango, classical, pop, and rock music at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Pool NYC, Voelker Orth Museum, and Stony Brook University.
