A groundbreaking novel which has spent over 25 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list, “The Vanishing Half” explores themes of race, family and identity.  It tells the story of identical twin sisters who grew up in the Jim Crow South before escaping at age 16 and diverging on separate life paths.
