Gustave Caillebotte: Painting His World - In-Person Lecture

Professor Thomas Germano presents a visual lecture about lesser-known exhibiting impressionist Gustave Caillebotte’s life and art.  “Gustave Caillebotte: Painting His World” opened at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris in October 2024, and travels to L.A.’s Getty Center and Chicago’s Art Institute through 2025. This major exhibit includes more than 120 of Caillebotte’s works, including paintings, works on paper, photographs, and other ephemera from throughout Caillebotte’s career
