Program Description

Event Details

Entering grades 5-12.  Tweens and teens will have the opportunity to make cards, both holiday and all season, for children and teens receiving treatment in hospitals.

Please read the card making guidelines below before you begin.

The supplies needed will include white drawing paper or construction paper, markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils.  Completed cards are to be dropped off to Mrs. Greco in the Family Center.  When dropping off your completed work, please let the Family Center staff member know your first and last name so that you can receive the correct community service credit.  However, only include your first name on the card itself.  Please do not mail the cards directly.  The library will be mailing out batches of cards as needed.  Each card will earn the participant 1 hour of community service credit, with a maximum of 5 hours per month.  Please take your time and create cards that you are proud to give to someone else.
